Keswick: Calf Close Bay

One of my favourite spots for photographs in Keswick is at Calf Close Bay, on the shores of Derwentwater. It is only a shortish walk form the town centre, but you get away from the mass of people, especially in the summer months. The view looks different every time I go there, no matter what time of the year.
Not a lot for these two sheep to graze on.
Canoeists on what was a cold day, with low cloud over the mountains.

Walking along the shore.

Friar's Crag.
Stable Hills Cottage, located under Great Wood.

Roots!
