Cumbria Classic Coaches

We made a visit to Cumbria Classic Coaches today, and were warmly welcomed. I was able to take a series of photo's, some of which appear below.
The garage is tucked away down a narrow lane at Bowber Head, near the village of Ravenstonedale. Cumbria Classic Coaches was started in the summer of 1998. As well as private hire, they also operate stage carriage services. 
A 1951 Guy Arab, new to Lancashire United Transport. 
Being washed was this AEC Regent 3, new to Bamber Bridge Motor Services in 1955. 



This Leyland Tiger PS1/1 dates from 1950 and was new to Crosville Motor Services. 
Formerly in the fleet of Burnley, Colne and Nelson, new in 1954, is this Leyland PS2.  

A 1949 Leyland Tiger which was a delivered new to W.Alexander of Falkirk.
